Information according to the Battery Act (BattG)
In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we as a retailer are obliged to inform you of the following:
1. Return Obligation of the End User
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. You are legally obligated as an end user to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries.
2. Free Return Options
You can return used batteries free of charge to us after use or at designated collection points (e.g., in municipal collection points or in retail stores). You can also return the batteries to us by post.
3. Returning to Us by Post
You can also return used batteries that you have purchased from us by post with sufficient postage. Please address the return shipment to:

Meaning of the Battery Symbols
The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin means that the battery must not be disposed of in household waste.

Additionally, you will find the chemical designation of the pollutants below this symbol if the legal limits are exceeded:
- Pb: Battery contains more than 0.004 percent by mass of lead
- Cd: Battery contains more than 0.002 percent by mass of cadmium
- Hg: Battery contains more than 0.0005 percent by mass of mercury
